Bilingual Album: continuing our Farm-to-Table journey
After the first stage of our bilingual album activity with younger pupils, our second and third cycle students continued working on the Farm-to-Table project through English and Galician.
This time, pupils worked in teams to complete their albums, collect stickers, exchange them with classmates and use both languages in a meaningful and cooperative way. The activity helped them revise vocabulary related to sustainable farms, responsible consumption, sustainable transport and healthy breakfast, while reflecting on how food travels and how our choices can affect the environment.
The bilingual album also encouraged pupils to use English for real communication: asking for stickers, helping their team, checking missing words and completing the album together. At the same time, Galician was present as part of our linguistic identity, making the activity a natural bridge between languages, sustainability and school life.
