Blue is a cold color

It´s winter time and being a month in which it is very cold has been a good opportunity to know the color blue as a cold color.

We use the watercolors to paint a landscape, a sky, a sea or whatever they want. The color blue was reduced with white. Therefore, they knew the different tonalities that a color can acquire. 

We talk about what the paintings and the sensations related to winter convey (sadness, boredom, nostalgia, cold, loneliness ...). All these sensations are associated with the other meaning that has "blue" in English, which is sad.
